From the moment she could talk Steph was destined to sing. By the tender age of 5 she was already finding her voice, a journey sparked and nurtured by her father, a true doo-wop afficionado. Recognizing the raw talent in his household, he firmly pushed Stephanie and her 3 sisters into mastering the intricate art of four part harmony. that rigorous foundation of blending voices shaped Stella's future as a musician, instilling a deep respect for precision, rhythm and soul.

Known affectionately by her peers in the musician community simply as Stella, she is a true musical pro. While she prides herself on her musical versatility, confidently taking on everything from pop to rhythm and blues, her heart has a permanent home in Jazz. Her style is a rich tapestry woven from her deepest influences, marrying the timeless, effortless emotion of Ella fitzgerald with the raw, soulful grit of Amy Winehouse.

THE CAREER

Stella's career is anchored by some truely unforgetable moments on stage. back in 1986 she shared the stage at the legendary Meadowlands, singing backup for a powerhouse lineup that included Patti labelle The Pointer Sisters and Kenny Rogers. Decades later her evolution as an artist came full circle when she had the honor of performing in the 2024 Carson City Jazz Festival.

Whether she is leading a jazz quartet, harmonizing in a studio session, or commanding a festival stage, Stella brings a lifetime of musical heritage, a rare versatiliy and unmistakable passion into every note.
